Romantic and scary - it's a great combination, don't you think :)
That's exactly the mood I had in mind for this picture, and of course it was also much inspired by the early '30s "spooky" cartoons. That's why I originally wanted to make this picture in black & white, or in very limited color palette. Still, I prefer this version with full color.
